Mine Investments and Stakeholders Management, Kenya (2019 -2025).

Cyrus has been instrumental in mine investments, machinery, and brand promotions, notably supporting mining brands while helping lift Kenya’s gold project through The Impact Facility. He played a pivotal role in developing the lease-to-own mining machinery program, which laid the foundation for his close collaboration with original equipment manufacturers in Kenya and East Africa.

Technical Training and Support Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania (August 2023).

Through Geomine Consultant, the team offered Occupational and health Training to Gemstones miners in Kwale, Kilifi County Kenya in Aug 2023 through Moyo gems  A program called “Mgodi Darasa” (classroom in the mine), the program allowed the  Miners to learn basic mining safety with simplicity and practically identify gaps for improvement. Investment Benchmarking Burundi in Tanzania (December 2024).

We have actively supported investment acceleration and collaboration by assisting both investors and government stakeholders in identifying opportunities for partnership and benchmarking through In December 2024, Competitiveness contracted Geomine Consultants to plan and organise stakeholders for this benchmarking mission for the Burundi delegation, enabling them to learn from Tanzania’s expertise in advancing the mineral value chain, promoting sustainable mining practices, and adopting modern mining technologies.

Mine Audit and Inspections In Turkana (September 2025).

Geomine conducted a week-long mine audit and sensitization programming Sept 2025, in collaboration with the Turkana County Government, focusing on professional oversight, safety standards, and the innovation needs of local gold mining communities. The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between practitioners, policymakers, and partners, fostering dialogue and actionable pathways toward a more sustainable future for mining in Kenya and the wider East African region.

Environmental Social and Governance in Ghana, Tanzania and Uganda (March 2025).

Eng. Cyrus has been actively involved in ESG assessments across small-scale mining operations, bringing a strong focus on sustainability and operational excellence. Notably, in March 2025, he conducted an ESG assessment in Ghana that informed mining investability studies and risk analyses, and highlighted critical areas for operational improvement. His expertise lies in applying ESG tools to evaluate mining practices, mitigate risks, and guide investors and policymakers toward more responsible and sustainable mining models.
